Saugus Town Manager Scott C. Crabtree Announces Housing Production Plan Public Meeting

(Saugus, MA) December 21, 2016 – Town Manager Scott C. Crabtree, the Planning and Development Department, and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council invite residents, business owners, and Town officials attend a presentation on the finalized Housing Production Plan, on Wednesday, December 21 at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall auditorium.

The Housing Production Plan outlines strengths and weaknesses within the Town’s housing market, and presents thoughtful and carefully selected strategies for achieving a healthy mix of housing types and tenure options for the future.

This public meeting follows two public forums, held in May and October. It will consist of a short presentation followed by a question and answer period in order to provide residents with the chance to gain an understanding of the purpose and function of the Housing Production Plan.

“The Housing Production Plan public meeting will give community members a chance to see how the Town hopes to increase housing options for current and future residents in a way that responses to the changing economic and demographic landscapes of the Town and North Shore,” said Town Manager Crabtree.
