Trash/Recycling Running on One-Day Delay Oct. 14-19 Due to Observance of Columbus Day

(Saugus, MA) October 7, 2019 – The Town of Saugus announces that trash and recycling collection will run on a one-day delay from Tuesday, October 15, 2019 through Saturday, October 19, 2019, due to the observance of Columbus Day.

There will be no collection on Monday, October 14, 2019, due to the holiday. Services will resume on a one-day delay from Tuesday, October 15, 2019 through Saturday, October 19, 2019. Residents whose collection day falls on Monday will be collected on Tuesday. Collection will continue to run on a one day delay for the remainder of the week.

The compost site will be open normal hours, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the following days: Saturday, October 12, 2019; Wednesday, October 16, 2019; and Saturday, October 19, 2019.
