Town of Saugus Announces Trash/Recycling Running on One-Day Holiday Delay For Next Two Weeks Due to Upcoming Holidays
(Saugus, MA) December 20, 2017 – The Town of Saugus announces that trash and recycling collection will run on a one-day delay for the next two weeks in observance of Christmas and the New Year.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on Monday, December 25, 2017, due to the holiday. Collection will then resume on a one-day delay on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, and run through Saturday, December 30, 2017.
The following week, trash and recycling will not be collected on Monday, January 1, 2018, due to the holiday. Collection will then resume on a one-day delay on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, and run through Saturday, January 6, 2018.
Residents are kindly asked to leave trash and recycling curbside by 7 a.m. the day after their normally scheduled collection day.
The Compost/Recycling drop-off site is now closed for the season. This site will re-open to residents on the third Saturday of the month in January, February, and March, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
