John Fralick Announces Update on COVID-19 Vaccinations

(Saugus, MA) February 12, 2021 - Saugus Public Health Director, John Fralick, and the Saugus Health Department announce it is currently in the process of securing vaccines for the older and more vulnerable Saugus residents outlined by the phasing schedule put out by the Commonwealth, and working with the Commonwealth’s online software scheduling vendor so that residents can schedule appointments.  Once this is put in place the Saugus Health Department will be setting up vaccination clinics for those Saugus residents.  There will be more information and details to follow in the near future.

In the meantime, Director Fralick, in encouraging eligible Saugus residents to registrar for the COVID-19 vaccine that is currently available for the eligible populations through the state vaccine sites and website at: https://www.maimmunizations . org/. 

Please note that vaccine and appointment availability at state vaccine sites are limited at this time.  Please visit the website to search for an available appointment near you, or dial 2-1-1 for assistance in making an appointment.  At this time, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) encourages the use of one of the several mass vaccination sites across the Commonwealth.
