Town of Saugus and the Board of Health announce a COVID 19 PCR Testing Clinic this month at the Saugus Senior Center

The Town of Saugus and the Saugus Board of Health are pleased to announce the acquisition of grant funding from the Mass Health Officer’s Association in order to host a number of COVID19 PCR testing clinics in the month of June. These clinics will serve the Town of Saugus as a continuing resource for COVID19 surveillance and response. The drive-through clinics will be held at the Saugus Senior Center at 498 Central Street on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Jun 14th from 10am to 3:30pm. The service is provided exclusively to Saugus residents at no cost, with results typically being received within 24-36 hours of testing.  The Saugus Board of Health will also be providing at-home rapid antigen tests to all participating residents (Max 3 per vehicle while supplies last). Please have your State-issued ID ready to show proof of residency.

The Town of Saugus asks for your continued vigilance as the spread of the COVID19 virus continues to enter into an endemic phase. The following testing dates have been confirmed for the month of June:

6/14/22  10am-3:30pm

6/16/22  10am-3:30pm

6/21/22  10am-3:30pm

6/23/22  10am-3:30pm

6/28/22  10am-3:30pm

6/30/22  10am-3:30pm

Where this will be a drive-through event, all dates are not weather-permitting and you will receive on-site instructions in the event of any change in protocol. All residents that may have exposure concerns are asked to wear masks when interacting with all staff. All results will be sent from Broad Institute of Cambridge via the email provided by residents at check-in. The Town of Saugus appreciates the opportunity to continue to provide COVID19 resources to all its residents. Thank you.
